Final Update - Beyond the Bet Kickstarter

Hey there wonderful Kickstarter backers!
I wanted to drop a quick, final update on a few things!
Rewards Complete
As of last month, ALL physical rewards have been mailed out. Leftovers will be available on our website in around a week. We had a whopping ~1300 packages but between the two of us, they're all done and dusted now.
We've had a couple of packages returned to us (incomplete addresses or not being claimed from the post office), so those backers will be messaged soon with options for those.
For those still waiting for their goodies - they're coming from Australia, so may take a few weeks to reach you. You're free to private message us through Kickstarter if you need to ask any questions.
We're still completing the last ~2 couple colored sketch rewards, and then we'll be moving on to complete the custom character creator assets (accessories/clothing). Backers with those rewards will be messaged once complete.
Surveys Closing Soon
Thanks to everyone who did their surveys on time! There's still ~60 people who have not completed their surveys, and we're unable to send digital or physical rewards without it.
If you haven't yet done it, please complete it by the March 1, as surveys will be closed after that date.
Further Game Updates
We'll be updating A Date with Death with voice acting, Japanese localization and additional character creation goodies in the later half of 2025. Apart from that, there will be no new major additions to A Date with Death. At this point the game is complete, so there will not be updates here any longer. Feel free to follow us on Patreon for monthly updates on our progress across new projects.

January 2025 Update(?)

Hello everyone!
Just a quick update on a few things we've touched on in previous updates:
Merch Shipping
Merch shipping began in December as planned and will continue for, at least, the rest of January. Please be patient while we work on getting them all sent out to you. You should receive a tracking number once your merch is on the way - though it will still likely take a few weeks to reach you, as we're shipping from Australia.
Canada Orders
The strike in Canada for postage has now ended, but Australia Post is still assessing the situation and will not take any packages to your country for the moment.
Australia Post advises: 'Australia Post will continue to monitor and assess the situation daily and will resume services once confident that Canada Post has stabilised its operations.'
Once we get the go ahead, we'll be resuming shipping to Canada. Please wait a little longer!
BackerKit
If you haven't already, please fill out your Backerkit surveys ASAP so we can send you your rewards. If you don't do it, we can't send you any physical goods you bought, nor any game keys.
If you used an AppleID on Kickstarter, you will not have received your survey. Please message us (not comment) with your actual email address and we can update it for you on our end, so that you can complete your survey.
Custom Accessories/Outfits/Couple Colored Sketches
Now that Beyond the Bet has released, work on the backer custom artworks has begun. For the colored sketches, you will be sent a link to your finished artwork when it is complete.
For outfits/accessories, you will see a patch to the 'Expansion DLC' in the future that adds these new custom items. We'll be holding off until they're all complete to release together though!
That's all for now! Monthly updates here on Kickstarter are now complete, as Beyond the Bet has been released. We will still have a few 'small' updates to the game - Japanese localization, voice acting (later half of 2025), and the above mentioned accessories/outfit additions.
For now, we will continue chugging along with packing up your merch orders this month. Happy new year!
Canada Merch Orders

Hey everyone!
Just a quick update - as there's currently a postage strike ongoing in Canada, all merch orders to the country will be put on hold until the strike ends.
A small amount of Canadian orders were already sent out - if you receive a notification that your package is due to pick up in Australia, please don't book a flight to our lovely country!!! We have picked up your order (it was returned to us) and we will send them again for you when the strike ends at no extra charge.

Preordered a key through Kickstarter/Backerkit?
If you preordered a key through Kickstarter or Backerkit, then you will be able to grab your key by going into your Backerkit survey.
If you have not completed your survey (there's ~150 of you), then you will not receive a key. You must fill in the survey to get your key.
If you can't find your survey, send us a message rather than comment, as it saves us time finding your account.
If you have an Apple ID, this is another reminder to message us to get it updated to your actual email address so you can receive your survey.
How do I access the new DLC?
Beyond the Bet is best experienced after completing the main story at least once, as it builds upon the events from the original pathway.
There's a few ways to start Beyond the Bet.
If you've already finished the game once:
1. Main Menu: Select ‘Start’ from the main menu, and you’ll be prompted with the option to jump directly to Beyond the Bet.
2. In-Game: Play through the game normally, and when you reach the end of Day 5, choose the options marked with a flower to branch into the Beyond the Bet storyline.
If you haven't finished the game yet, or you've lost your save files, then you can unlock Beyond the Bet by:
1. In-Game: Finish at least one original ending.
2. Settings: You can also toggle Beyond the Bet on in the settings menu at any time, instead of playing through the original game.
