When will Beyond the Bet release?
We’re planning for December 2024! This will give us all time to write, edit, plan, draw and program the game. There is a possibility voice acting will be added AFTER release, depending on how long it takes.

Why can't I add physical add-ons?
Physical add-ons are only available on tiers that already have merch items attached to them. If you get a lower tier and want to add some merch, you will have to do it during the BackerKit survey afterwards.

What's Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform we use to help fund some of our projects! You pick a tier, get rewards, and your money helps go towards making the new DLC.
You won’t be charged until after the campaign ends, and only if we’re successful.

Can XYZ merch item be added as an add-on?
All of the new tier merch items won’t be available as add-ons during the campaign. However, you will be able to add them to your pledge during our Backerkit.

Will voice acting be added to the free game if it's reached?
Yes! If we reach the voice acting stretch goal, it will be added to ALL of the game, and the free base game will be updated with it.

Will there be NSFW content?
Yes and no. We are currently working on some NSFW scenes, but they are entirely optional and will NOT be present in the DLC by default. You will have to add them with a free patch to be able to view the scenes.
NSFW scenes will not be dependant on your character body type or gender/pronouns. You will be able to select what parts your character has, and whether you’d like to top/bottom. This will lead to 4 different variations on the NSFW scene.

What's BackerKit?
BackerKit is a pledge manager that we’ll be using after the campaign. We use it to keep track of all of our backers, send surveys through it, and we charge shipping through it.
After the Kickstarter ends, you will be emailed a survey from BackerKit where you’ll be able to fill in all of your postage information, pay for shipping (if required) and add on extra items if you feel like it.

Can I change my tier?
You can indeed! You can adjust your pledge by clicking the “manage your pledge” button.
You can then adjust your pledge amount of even switch to another tier. You can also add any add-ons here.

Can I change my shipping address later?
Yes, you can. We’ll be sending out a survey through BackerKit after the campaign, and you’ll be able to change your address until we begin the fulfillment process.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
